ABOUT SOLAR INSULATION
Solar Insulation Window Films opened in 1975, in Nashville, Tennessee. Our business serves residential, commercial and automotive markets. We furnish and install film coating for any type of glass. With more than 35 years of experience, you can feel confident that you are calling the most experienced and most reliable window film installation contractor in Tennessee. We are the oldest window film installer in Tennessee, and 3rd oldest in the United States! Solar Insulation Window Films is here to serve you.
For more than 40 years, Solar Insulation has applied almost every type of window film in almost every type of environment. We have applied film in Hospitals, including ICU’s and OR’s. We have been in Nursing Homes and Long-Term Care facilities including patient rooms. We have been on Military bases, in Government offices, Churches, School Campuses, Power Plants – you name it. Today, homes and businesses are our largest markets, but we continue to serve our automotive customers as well.
Equally important to our success is our outstanding installers and staff. Our CEO, Dave Andrews, is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, and the Home Builders of Middle Tennessee’s Green Building Council, ASID Industry Partner, BBB A+, and an Affiliate Member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
Some of our homeowners are doing their 4th and 5th houses with us. Our auto tinting customers have done as many as 15 to 20 cars with us.
Solar Insulation Window Films is an independent local business devoted to finding the best product for each job. Our primary brands are 3M Prestige and Vista/Llumar, and we also use product from Madico, Bekaert, Solyx, and others.
