Nashville Window Film Company Moves After 45 years

Over 45 years ago, Solar Insulation Window Films introduced itself to the Nashville community and soon cemented itself as the local window film expert. Through thick and thin, we have been there for our neighbors and the larger Nashville area at our 46th Avenue establishment, and we will continue to do so, but at an exciting new location closer to South Nashville! That’s right, we are moving from our current location to an upgraded space in Metroplex Business Park. We are incredibly excited about this move and about continuing to serve our residential, commercial and automotive window film customers in Nashville, Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.

Making dramatic changes like moving can be an emotional experience, and we are certainly going to miss the beloved area where we put down roots in the 70s. Missing our old building for its huge storefront (our windows to the world, if you will) is one thing, but we are sad to leave for many more reasons. From our nurturing neighbors to the restaurants we’ve savored nearby, we owe so much to the community that has molded us into the respected company we are today, and we will sorely miss you! Rest assured, however, that your South Nashville window film company remains nearby and will continue to fulfill any and all of your window film needs.

What’s new about our Nashville Metroplex location, and why the move?

2019 and 2020 were the biggest in our company’s 45+ year history, which is pretty extraordinary. After these landmark years, we felt that now was a great opportunity to make our work environment and customer experience that much better! With these considerations in mind, our new space has increased square footage, larger areas for custom graphics production, a bigger lobby, a showroom, lots of free convenient parking, and even a drive-up shop door for glass pickup and drop off! Given our long history in the area, we felt it was time to upgrade our mutual experience, and we are so excited for our Nashville neighbors to come to know our fresh address (475 Metroplex Drive, suite 409) as the new home for window film!

In our new location, we are committed to maintaining the relationships we’ve made over the years, as well as creating new ones in South Nashville. Whatever your needs are, our services and window film selections are second to none, and we are very excited to continue making history in our favorite city.
